Messed up doctors apponintment and New Pantry

Today started out with having to wake everyone up and get them ready for a doctors appointment. Remember my kids are not used to getting up by 7:00a.m. Well Joshua had an accident so I had to give him a bath, Brendyn didn't want to get dressed and the transport for Heather was 15min late. So I was 15min behind now (at least) and had to rush to get the boys to Amy's house so she could babysit for me. Miranda, Alyssa and me headed to the appointment.

We get there with 5 min to spare. Even after driving behind a man that was going 25 miles under the speed limit. I got Alyssa signed in and started the paper work. The called us back and said "you where here last month?" I was like "no this is our first appointment with you all". They looked confused. I could tell where this was going. They then had to go check on what was going on. They scheduled us for a 30min app. but we needed almost 2hrs for a new patient. So they had to reschedule on Friday when Joshua has an appointment. That will be a very long day for us! Please pray for us. (They are being seen for sleeping problems and ADHD). So after that I ran a few errands and picked up the boys.

When we got home Nick, the contractor had the wall up for the pantry and was ready to put the door in. We talked about what I wanted for the room and tomorrow he will try to finish it. He is making shelves that I want and putting in a homemade shoe compartment. I am really excited about this. It's funny how things change the older you get. It was supposed to be my "woman cave" but I decided to have a bigger pantry and somewhere for all our shoes. The room is right off the garage so it will be perfect to both. One day I will have my screened in porch and that will be my room. Hopefully I can get the memory card working so you all can see my "woman cave". :)

Lost Keys

First off Joshua picked the picture at the top. My memory card still wont work!! So frustrating!

Well on Sunday after James left town I decided to go to the mall. Which meant I had 6 little ones and 2 teens with me. (I had Sabrinas kids for the weekend) What was I thinking?! It started off pretty good. I went and picked somethings out for James and Alan for summer. JC Pennys had some of there stuff 75% off. James got a pair of Tiger khaki shorts for 4.95, several t-shirts for $2.00-$4.00 dollars can't bet that! The kids even helped pick out some shirts they thought daddy would like. Then it all started... "I have to go to the bathroom", "I'm hungry", "I'm thirsty", "are we done yet?". Then the tag game began. Thankfully I had some certs in my purse so I pulled them out. They all sat on the floor and ate them when they were gone it was time to move on.

We then headed down to the food court. They all wanted taco bell so that made it easy for me. While we were eating they all talked about how cool the carousel ride was and how they wanted to ride it. So after they ate all their food(maybe not the best time to put them on a ride that goes in circles) they received a token.

Next we decided to hit a couple of store, of course this was after we go strollers for 4 of them. We went to a few stores and by then we were all ready to go! Well, as we were getting ready to leave I went for my keys..... nowhere to be found. I ask Miranda if she still had them. She said "I told joshua to give them to you". So I then asked Joshua "do you have mommies key"? "No, I left them somewhere". Was what he said to me. We searched everywhere and I was to the point I called a friends and asked her to come get us. Then one of the workers from the store said I will take Joshua up stairs to look for the keys. At this point I was like sure that's fine. I know great parenting skills.

They come back empty handed. During this time of looking for keys and trying to keep the little ones in on spot I sent Miranda to search the other stores. Finally after 45 min of looking for them we found them in Dillards shoe dept. I will go Tuesday and get another key made because that is our only one for right now. It all turned out good but man was it a long day. I guess the point of my story is never give your kids the car keys. I'm sure you all are a lot smart than that :)
